Misinformation, criticism of elites, and populism in the climate discourse <\/strong>

As part of the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) 2025, this workshop explores how misinformation and simplified narratives function and circulate \u2013 among climate deniers and even within the climate movement itself. We debate whether a \u201cclimate populism\u201d is a promising approach to reach people outside the climate bubble. Together, Frederik Metje and Fine Hornbostel will invite the participants to question their own communication habits and discuss how climate communication can reach wider audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n
