Workshop development<\/strong>

Many young people experience first-hand how social inequality, political alienation and the climate crisis overlap: the feeling of powerlessness and lack of participation is the greatest barrier to stronger climate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funded by the Deutsche Postcode Lotterie<\/a>, we are developing an innovative workshop concept that opens up new spaces for dialogue, agency and social participation for young people from marginalised neighbourhoods in Berlin. Together with die gelbe Villa<\/a>, we are designing a format that places young people from disadvantaged backgrounds at the centre \u2013 focusing on their perspectives and experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In two full-day, co-created workshops, our facilitators accompany the participants as they share their views, ask questions about the future and work together on solutions. The goal is to develop a tested, empowering workshop concept that can have an impact beyond the pilot phase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshops will result in a training and materials package that will be made available to schools and organisations \u2013 as an invitation to rethink hope, strengthen agency, and amplify young voices in the context of climate and democracy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project results and workshop concepts will also feed into our Social Climate Project<\/a><\/strong>. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
